Gios Torino, infatti, nel mondo delle corse professionistiche non ha contribuito solo a importanti successi su strada. Hanno corso sulle biciclette blu campionissimi del Ciclocross come i fratelli De Vleaminck e Liboton.
Il telaio, in acciaio Columbus Zona, ha una geometria ideale per tutti i percorsi con angoli più aperti, come nelle biciclette da ciclocross. Il carro posteriore più allungato, Columbus anch'esso, è dimensionato per l'alloggiamento di coperture generose e confortevoli fino a una sezione di 39-40. Il perno passante da 12 e battuta a 142 sono lo standard, ma è possibile sostituire l'inserto e montare il quick relaease con battuta da 135. Sterzo conico da 1" e 1/8 - 1" e 1/4 con serie sterzo esterna sempre Columbus. La forcella è nuovamente della casa della colomba ma in carbonio.
Come le biciclette da strada di qualche tempo fa i passaggi dei cavi sono fatti sopra la scatola del movimento centrale attraverso passafilli Campagnolo brasati al telaio. Le guaine sono ridotte all'essenziale per permettere uno scorrimento dei cavi migliore.
Lo spirito all-round di questa soluzione è accentuato dalla predisposizione per i parafanghi e per il portapacchi, per chi, meno "racing", la voglia utilizzare per il turismo o per il percorso casa-lavoro. Costruzione sempre su misura come per tutti gli altri telai Gios.
Per la prima volta Gios monta un gruppo Campagnolo per freno a disco che è ideale per una bicicletta "da sporcare", Campagnolo Potenza per freni a disco e nuovo telaio Gios sembrano perfettamente amalgamati, Campagnolo sono anche le ruote. Sempre italiano il "trittico" della Deda.
E quindi veniamo al nome: questo progetto prende il nome di "Foxes' Land" un omaggio a Volpiano, dove ha sede Gios Torino e, vista la tipologia di bicicletta, al suo contorno di colline e percorsi nei boschi e nella campagna.
